Rafale M model - Nato Tiger Meet 2017 - Dassault - 1/72 scale

Very high precision 1/72 scale metal model delivered with landing gear and display base. This model can be assembled without tools or glue in a few minutes. Invisible assembly. 3 possible presentations (taking off - landing/in flight/taxiing). This model is presented in designer packaging (21.5 x 21.5 x 7 cm). Model dimensions: 21 cm long - 15.5 cm wingspan - 6.5 cm high. (7.5 cm with landing gear extended). An omnirole combat aircraft, the Rafale is produced in single-seater and two-seater versions. There are different models for the Air and Space Force and the Navy, although they have many common elements. Intended for the Navy, the Rafale M is the only foreign combat aircraft that can carry out operations from American aircraft carriers using their catapults and arresting devices. With an external payload capacity of 9,500 kg, the Rafale M regularly carries out "rapid reaction alert" (QRA) missions for air defense and sovereignty, power projections and deployments for external missions, long-range strike missions, air support for land forces or reconnaissance as well as training sorties for pilots. In service with the French Navy, the aircraft has proven itself in combat. This livery was applied for the Nato Tiger Meet 2017 exercise which took place at the Landivisiau Naval Air Base. The 11 F flotilla won the title of "Best Painted Aircraft" rewarding the most beautiful decoration on an aircraft during this edition of the NatoTiger Meet. The design was created by F. Ratajczak and produced jointly by the staff of the Atelier Industriel de l'Aéronautique de Bretagne and Flottille 11 F. In July 2017, during the air show organized by the Royal Navy at the Yeovilton base, the two Rafale M presentation won the "Best Fixed Wing Display" trophy for the second consecutive year. This trophy rewards the best aerial demonstration. Not suitable for children under 15 years old.
