Mystère IV model - Dassault - 1/72 scale
Mystère IV model - Dassault - 1/72 scale
Out of stock
Very high precision 1/72 scale metal model delivered with landing gear and display base. This model can be assembled without tools or glue in a few minutes. Invisible assembly. 3 possible presentations (on takeoff - on landing/in flight/taxiing). Dimensions: 17.85 cm long - 15.50 cm wingspan - 6.20 cm high (7.5 cm with landing gear extended). Despite apparently identical aerodynamics to the Mystère II, the Mystère IV is an entirely new aircraft: pear-shaped fuselage section, thinner wing with increased sweep (32° at 25% of the chord), significantly higher power. It is equipped with hydraulic servos. Both robust, reliable, a good firing platform that maneuvers well and is capable of excellent performance, it is at the time of its entry into service at least the equivalent of the best foreign fighters. The Mystère IV was used by the French Air Force from 1955 to 1982. From 1957, the Patrouille de France made it its mount and this until 1964. It was on the Mystère IVA that the Patrouille de France was the first in the world to use blue-white-red smoke at the 1957 Paris Air Show. 411 production aircraft were produced. This includes fifty-nine aircraft in service with two fighter-bomber groups of the State of Israel (1956) and one hundred and ten aircraft were exported to India (1957).
